In Z05, R. Thomas will provide leadership and central administration of the CRC. In this project, he will support individual projects through the lump-sum funds, as well as the administration of Gerok rotation positions. Particularly these rotation positions for physician scientists will be a valuable instrument for the integration of this CRC with clinical departments contributing to this highly translational endeavor. Other funds managed by Z05 include support for women in science or central management of sequencing costs.
