In A04, M. Pasparakis will study the role of inflammatory and necroptotic signaling in SCLC using relevant genetically engineered mouse models (GEMMs). The experiments will focus on addressing the role of TNFR1 and NF-κB signaling in the development and progression of SCLC, entertaining the hypothesis that these pathways may have different functions in different tumor entities. In addition, the role of necroptosis, which can stimulate potent anti-tumor immunity in SCLC will be analyzed.
