Introduction to RNAseq data analysis with R and Bioconductor

Dates:

Course C: 20-21-22-23-24 of November (10am-12pm)

Course D: 27-28-29-30-01 of November/December (10am -12 pm)

RNA-Seq technology has been transformative in our ability to explore gene content and gene expression. This workshop provides an overview of modern applications of transcriptome sequencing and popular tools and algorithms. This workshop is aimed primarily at researchers that have basic bioinformatics skills and are pursuing RNA-Seq projects. Attendees will gain skills needed to successfully approach transcriptome sequencing, expression analysis, and gene set and network analysis. This course consists of 4 sessions of 2 hours each. The course comprises a mix of interactive lectures with small exercises as well as references to additional material and independent practical exercises.

Program:
Session 1: Genomic region analysis
Session 2: Hypothesis testing fundamentals
Session 3: RNA-seq data analysis
Session 4: Gene set and network analysis
