As part of the SFB1399, the central coordination office will continue to support graduates and postdocs planning an exchange with our two partner Universities Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge (Prof. Michael Yaffe) and Stanford University in California (Prof. Julian Sage).
Due to the ongoing travel restrictions and the unforeseeable development of the pandemic, the funding is offered as a start-up funding in 2021 with plans for an exchange in late 2021 or 2022. The start-up funding can be used for a joint project with the partner universities and can be spent as consumables. An interim report is required for the following exchange grant to be approved.
Conditions
1,600 euros are granted es part of the start up funding as consumables. In order to cover the travel costs, an exchange grant of 2,500 euros can be granted after submission of an interim report. The number of scholar ships is limited.
