In C07, F. Beleggia will investigate the effects of cigarette smoke on SCLC. In particular, we will characterize the pathophysiological changes caused by smoke on the lung micro-environment, including immune cells, vasculature, nervous system, epithelial and neuroendocrine cells and we will investigate the effects of smoke on tumorigenesis, intratumoral heterogeneity and progression of SCLC.
